For inorganic clay

The YH series bentonite (inorganic gelatin) thickening and rheological additives can be used by the method of pre-gel:

According to the proportion powder: water=1:6 put the powder into the vessel with high-speed disperser and stir. And make composition into pulp (stir half an hour with high speed), then dilute pulp to the powder: water =1:9 that is to say 10% solid content, continue to stir 10 minutes, depositing and use until the PH value is stable.

Attention

1.YH series inorganic gel will take effect under the condition of disperse enough. It will increase the function of thickening, anti settling, thixotropy if the gel is proper stored surface activator, diatomic alcohol will disturb the hydration, it should be added after YH series disperse enough!

2.YH series inorganic gel can be used alone. Or mix use with thickening agent such as cardoxymethyl cellulose, hydroxy ethyl cellulose, CMHPC, will acquire best rheological property. It has been found that this kind of product should avoid mix using with the polyurethane thickening agent.

YH series bentonite thickening and rheological additive

YH series bentonite thickening and rheological additive is a kind of natural aluminum magnesium silicate, hydrophilic and high purity (modified) Montmorillonite is the main ingredients. The colloid performance is similar to Veegum and Magnabrite that produced by FINDBEER Company, American. This product is widely used in water based coating, emulsion paint. medicament, toothpaste, cosmetic, rubber, papermaking and so on. it act as floatability, thixotropic agent, stabilizer, thickening agent. In pharmacy, it is used as medical adhesives, disintegrating agent and stabilizer. In founding paint and various ceramics colorful paint, it is used as floatability and thixotropic agent; some performance of this serial is superior to use the CMC, HEC respectively.

The main character of six specification YH-A/B/C/D/E/EV as following:

1.       Strong thixotropic, high shear with low viscosity; low shear with high viscosity, the index of thixotropy reach to 6.0.

2.       Extensive PH range of application: it will go into effect during PH5-12.

3.       Easy dispersivity: need not pre gel and active agent.

4.       Stability: fine biochemical stability, and fine heat stability.

5.       Mutual solubility: easy to dissolve in the alcohols and high polar solvent (glycerin, sorbitol).

6.       Economical efficiency: it will reduce the cost when use product alone, also, mix using with the celluose aether, crylic acid will improve the rheological property, lower the cost at the same time!
